I just wrapped up my 43rd year of high school football officiating this past Saturday with a MSHSAA Class 4 semifinal between #1 Lutheran North out of St. Louis and #2 Kearney.
The week before we did MSHSAA Class 6 #1 Lee’s Summit North hosting #2 Nixa.
Both games were playoff caliber and were decided with less than a minute to go in regulation…a ton of fun.
I am blessed and thankful to still be on a football field on Friday nights… I drive home with a smile on my face and will LOL several times thanking Jesus for the opportunity.
