USA Life Expectancy and Prescription Spending

It turns out that Americans spend more on pharmaceuticals than any other country in the world—and not just more—a lot more. 

I have two visuals for you this week.

The first is something I saw last week and shows the USA with the worst life expectancy of all the developed countries!

AND it is declining…

The OECD** reported the average American spends $1376 per year on medications, while Sweden spends just $540.
